An article about the New Jersey Schools of Character program was published in the September issue of the NJEA Review. The article recounts the importance of working on character, social-emotional learning, and school culture and climate in the words of educators and parents from schools that have been recognized as State and National Schools of Character. NJASECD’s support of schools who are engaged in the application process is also explained.
